First, the news:

Craft is out of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, which isn't necessarily meaningful but feels like a fun fact for some reason. He's listed at 6'6", willow thin, and best known for his ability to knock down jump shots. Just a month ago, Illinois Hoops Prospects described him as "the most explosive and effortless scorer I saw all spring," going on to cite his knack for drilling shots at all three levels even through tough contests.

Craft is also bouncy and clever at the rim, showing off a variety of finishes with either hand when he gets to the basket. He put up a shooting line of 47/38/81 in '19-'20 and 53/41/87 this most recent season, averaging 23.5 and 27.1 PPG, respectively, in those seasons.

Xavier targeted Craft early, when he was pretty much a consensus three-star guy and not drawing a lot of buzz. He has exploded in the last six months or so, but the Muskies' staff did its work early and now has a top-100 guy leading the 2022 class.
