Xavier finally draws someone other than Wisconsin - wait, wrong conference challenge.
Xavier will take on Oklahoma State at OSU's place this December as part of the Big East-Big 12 Battle. The 5th is a Sunday, so good news for those among our readers who have that slated as a day of rest already.
Oklahoma State put together a strong season last year, earning a 4 seed in the NCAA tournament behind a 20-8 record. They went 1-1 in the tournament proper, easing away from Liberty late on before falling to tournament Cinderella - or at least of them - Oregon State in the second round.
Freshman guard Cade Cunningham drew a lot of the attention for OSU last year, but despite his departure they return over 70% of their minutes from a season ago. Bart Torvik has them slotted just south of the bubble in his early projections, but this should be a challenging road test against a veteran high-major team for Xavier.
