First, the news:

At least it will be on TV!
Xavier was initially going to take on Nova fresh off of this week's game against Seton Hall at Cintas, but now it has been pushed back to the midweek fixture between a home game with Providence and the return leg at Seton Hall. I'm not sure that's any better or worse as far as timing goes, it just is what it is.
This has been a weird season for everyone, and Xavier is no exception, but the festive season may take the cake. The Muskies started the year with three games that were played from first tip to final horn in the span of just over 50 hours; they will now play three games between home to Marquette on December 20th to home to Seton Hall on January 10th in something on the order of 480 hours, depending on when the tip with Seton Hall ends up being. So it goes in 2020.
