Before the season can even get started, Marquette has already had positive tests. This is part of an overall Covid spike in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. While two tests of the 45 is not immediately threatening, the rapid spread of the virus is part of what has made it so dangerous. To that end the Golden Eagles are already losing an extraordinarily valuable two weeks of practice in order to hopefully stop the outbreak where it is. For an explanation of the tiers and what exactly that means, read the below link on the NCAA’s new guidelines released today.
