First, the news:
Source: Xavier wing Dahmir Bishop is in the NCAA Transfer Portal. Bishop, a former four-star recruit, averaged 1.6 PPG & 2.5 RPG. Bishop was averaging 12 minutes a game.

Bishop started the season with back-to-back 4 point, 7 rebound performances, but had real trouble getting consistent minutes pretty much from that point on. He got just 8 minutes in the team's past 6 games, with 4 DNPs in that time, most recently missing out on the action at Nova in his native Philadelphia.
Bishop was a four-star recruit who came in with a reputation as a polished offensive player with potential to be a high-level defender. He struggled to get it going at Xavier, shooting just 5-28/2-17/4-13. He showed flashes of potential in Spain and in the early going but ultimately chose to move on before it all came together at X.
Florida, Kansas State, Penn State, Pitt, and Temple were among the teams to offer Bishop before he signed with Xavier. We wish him all the best in his search for a new home.
