There were some big results on the bubble last night, most notably Seton Hall knocking off Marquette at home. Creighton stayed upright in OT against Providence, and Clemson finally managed to finish a close game. Elsewhere, OSU lost by 18 to Northwestern, which should deal a decisive blow to their at-large hopes, Georgetown got run off the court by DePaul, and former Georgetown target Tremont Waters and LSU handed Florida another tough loss.
Here is tonight's slate:
Temple at UConn, 7pm, CBSSN
The Owls have no wiggle room at the bottom of the bubble right now. Unfortunately, they play in a conference where chances for bad losses abound. UConn is dead and buried thanks to a six-game losing streak, and they could drag Temple down with them if they get this one.
North Florida at Liberty, 7pm, ESPN+
NJIT at Lipscomb, 8pm, ESPN+
Liberty and Lipscomb are just close enough to the bubble to be interesting. If one or both of them goes down early, the ASun is almost surely a one-bid league.
Indiana at Illinois, 8pm, FS1
Indiana has a polarizing resume. With wins over Louisville, Wisconsin, and Michigan State (x2), they top out higher than anyone on the bubble. They also have 14 losses and are coming off a stretch in which they went 1-12. You wonder, even with their good wins, how much wiggle room they have, if any at all. You don't suppose they can afford another loss or two.
