Myles Hanson joins Xavier

Xavier adds a player for the next three years, but does he like World Cup coverage?

Travis Steele’s raiding of Columbia continues as he adds 6-6, 215 forward Myles Hanson. Hanson was serviceable for the Lions last year, getting 3.1/2.3/0.4 on a shooting line of .328/1.000/.279. AS of right now, Hanson will be a walk-on, looking to follow the Andrew Taylor route to Xavier glory.

Hanson‘s last season was hampered by injury. His 42 three point attempts reflect a confidence in his shot that wasn‘t immediately evident in the results. With a coaching staff that figures to be an upgrade, perhaps that shot will be more developed and consistent when he takes the floor for the Musketeers next year. Either way, his body will play defensively. Travis Steele‘s eye for talent evidently wanders far and wide.
