Xavier's Tyrique Jones and Naji Marshall will not be at 100% against DePaul

Naji will likely participate but be hampered by his back; Tyrique may not be medically cleared in time.

Per Adam Baum:

That's obviously not good news, as a Xavier team that is already not lighting the world on fire will need all hands on deck for Big East play. Naji Marshall has been having intermittent problems with his back for most of the year; if he can go, he'll likely be called upon to help match up with DePaul star Max Strus.

Tyrique Jones took a shot to the head in practice before the holiday and is still working toward full fitness. Without his presence up front, Xavier's interior production falls to Zach Hankins and a lot of hope.

Both players will be hoping to be ready to roll in time for Xavier's Big East opener against DePaul, Saturday at 2pm.
