Per Adam Baum:
"Naji ... I don't want to say he's good to go but he's good right now, so hopefully he'll be able to go against DePaul. Tyrique ... once docs clear him hopefully it will be in time for the DePaul game and if not, hopefully he'll be back for the Seton Hall game." https://t.co/A6ERczQAnR

That's obviously not good news, as a Xavier team that is already not lighting the world on fire will need all hands on deck for Big East play. Naji Marshall has been having intermittent problems with his back for most of the year; if he can go, he'll likely be called upon to help match up with DePaul star Max Strus.
Tyrique Jones took a shot to the head in practice before the holiday and is still working toward full fitness. Without his presence up front, Xavier's interior production falls to Zach Hankins and a lot of hope.
Both players will be hoping to be ready to roll in time for Xavier's Big East opener against DePaul, Saturday at 2pm.
