Early in the first quarter of his game last night against rival Hopkinsville, Xavier signee KyKy Tandy was out in transition. He had a lane to the bucket; Hopkinsville's 7'2" big Jamarion Sharp had no intentions of letting him get there. Tandy went for it anyway:

You want another angle? Sure:
When you bust your chin on the rim I’d say it’s @espn top 10...when it’s on a 7’2 defender it’s got be #1 @TandyDekeyvan @CoachLo270 @BleacherReport @tdixonKNE @coachadler @SportsCenter pic.twitter.com/1NuDpfeDp9— Dedra Kay Adler (@DedraAdler) December 12, 2018
It is usually hyperbole when people talk about putting your chin on the rim, but not in this case. Tandy got bandaged up during the hysteria that followed his massive dunk and was in and out of the game all night getting it treated. He also had to get stitches afterward:
It wasn't all just monster dunks from Tandy, as he poured in 33 from all over the floor to lead University Heights to victory. Tandy is perhaps the jewel of Xavier's six-man class of 2019; dark days never last long on Victory Parkway.
