It's hard to see your season end, but it's even harder to collect yourself and put together some coherent thoughts when the sun has set on something you've been doing for most of your life. Rizzie, Morton, and Jernigan acquitted themselves well on the field, and they did so again when asked to summarize their seasons and careers.
Dan Rizzie was named to the Nashville Regional All-Tournament team. He was 14-29 with 8 runs and 8 RBI in Xavier's seven postseason games. He was obviously and understandably emotional as he shared his thoughts:

David Morton was 12-26 with 7 runs, 6 RBI, and a homer in the postseason for Xavier. He was hotter than a barrel of fire in Nashville and was also named to the Regional All-Tournament team. He shared some perspective when looking back on his career:

And finally, Big East Player of the Year Andre Jernigan. Jernigan hit a quarter of the team's 8 postseason home runs and anchored the lineup from the four hole. He looks back on his time at Xavier:
