Xavier Musketeer Trevon Bluiett to work out for Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves

As first reported by Jeff Goodman, or at least as first reported to me.

Trevon's next couple of weekends just got a bit more interesting, as he has grabbed workouts with the Celtics and the Timberwolves. Despite not getting invited to the NBA Draft combine, Tre seems to be garnering some interest from the league.

This is obviously a good thing for Tre, but I think it can only be a good thing for Xavier, too. Unless one of these teams is just so obviously bowled over that Bluiett remains in the draft, he's getting feedback on his game regarding what he needs to do to succeed at the next level. I don't think the next level is so different from Bluiett's current level that those pointers won't help Xavier this year.

Jalen Reynolds has still not, to the best of my knowledge, gotten a lot of contact from the league. My best guess remains that Trevon will be back and Jalen is headed to Europe to make bank.
