Top 2016 PG Dennis Smith cuts list to five ACC schools, plus Kentucky |
The only thing more fun that our own recruiting is someone else's! This could have big implications for Xavier though, as Smith is a PG who has interest from UK (among many, many others). Smith is actually rated higher on most boards than fellow UK target Kobi Simmons. The more good guards UK signs, the better chances that Simmons lands in Cinci to suit up for Xavier.

Clarett took his life in a direction that we don't want to see any Musketeers follow. He has reinvented himself as a speaker who makes his bones as a cautionary tale. If it landed with the Muskies and will benefit them, good on Clarett for turning it around and finding something good.

The NBA has the same problem that the NCAA does: more games would probably mean more money in the short-term, and some people can't see past that. I don't care what happens with the NBA, but if their expansion would hasten the NCAA's, I hope it doesn't happen.

"Xavier will be the beneficiary of increased coverage across Olympic sports, as 10 events have been selected for broadcast -- including four men's and women's soccer matches, a volleyball match and the BIG EAST Cross Country Championships. Overall, the 2015 fall schedule features 99 events with a combined 85 regular-season men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball matches -- in addition to 14 BIG EAST Championship events."
