First of all, the box score:

That "Andrew Lavender" who went for 24/1/4 on a cool 10-15/3-5/1-1 shooting is none other than former Xavier point guard Drew Lavender. Aside from former Saint Mary's star Paul Marigney, he was the driving force behind 7outz knocking off Grantland in The Basketball Tournament.
Not only was Lavender nails all game long, but the way he put his foot to the throat of Grantland in the final possession was magnificent:

Just your garden variety bomb off the dribble from ballscreen action to win the game. For whatever reason, the Grantland team in TBT rubbed me the wrong way. I think it was because they were clearly a corporate entity trying to maintain the sort of everyman cool that Grantland chief Bill Simmons hasn't be able to admit he lost about a decade ago. I'm glad they're out, and I'm doubly glad it was a Muskie who did it to them.
