Atlantic-10 Rookie of the Year Eric Paschall commits to Villanova | vuhoops.com
After the Fordham Rams fired coach Tom Pecora, 6-foot-6 guard Eric Paschall decided to take a look at his options outside of Rose Hill. In the 2014-15 season, Paschall averaged 15.9 points per game and led the Rams with 45 made three-pointers. He grabbed an average of 5.5 rebounds per game, dished out 1 assist per game, and averaged 0.8 steals. He'll be eligible in 2016-17.
Sources: Anton Gill Close to Committing to Georgetown | casualhoya.com
Gill visited Georgetown over the weekend and word is that he impressed the coaching staff both on and off the court. Should he commit to the Hoyas, Gill would join forward Akoy Agau as former Cardinals to head to the Hilltop. Gill came out of high school as a top 50 guard and big-time scorer but could never crack the rotation at Louisville. He has two ears of eligibility remaining.
Seton Hall transfer Jaren Sina commits to George Washington | CBSSports.com
People are also leaving the Big East. Jaren Sina bailed from the sinking ship that is Seton Hall basketball last season, and now he has committed to go play at George Washington. I never much cared for seeing Xavier play against Sina as he was one of those guys who just seemed consistently more effective than he should be, but I wish him all the best.
Big man Adonis De La Rosa to transfer from St. John's | rumbleinthegarden.com
A certain amount of roster turnover is expected with any regime change, and St. John's is certainly living up to that expectation. De La Rosa was a partial qualifier last year and is moving on having never played a single minute for the Johnnies. Walk-on guard Myles Stewart is also heading out.
