Brad
UC's defense is really good.

Joel
Yeah, but their offense [isn't very good]. It's almost as bad as our defense.

Brad
Do you think we stick with four over one or go back to a standard lineup to start?

Joel
I think we start Farr. Mack will lean toward experience at the tip in a hostile game. I think four out matches up well though.

Brad
UC's four is only going to be 6-7, but he's built like a Ford Ranger. I can see us doing either. If Bluiett weren't so outrageously soft, he'd be the easy pick here.

Joel
Plus he's bouncy and goes to the glass.

Brad
I'm going to say Dee, Myles, Remy, Farr, Stain Train.

Joel
I like that lineup.

Brad
I don't. I hate Farr anywhere on the court.

Joel
I meant in terms of likely accuracy

Brad
Do you think Mack will start Farr? He's only played him 22 over the last three games. O'Mara has also played 22, and Jalen has played 71.

Joel
Who do you start then? Your other choices are having Jalen pick up two fouls before the first media timeout or running a freshman of questionable physical fortitude into a hostile arena to match up with a small piece of farm machinery.

Brad
O'Mara? See if they'll go four a side? I don't disagree, I just think Mack is noticing how useless Farr is.

Joel
I agree to an extent, but consider that UC doesn't employ the kind of four that feasts on Farr's defensive quirks, he can still rebound and protect the rim, and hopefully he has the sense to pass when they dare him to shoot. The more I think about it, the more this is a James Farr kind of game for me.

Brad
Words you'll never hear me say.

Joel
UC is a crap shooting team that flies to the glass. If Farr doesn't fit the bill against that scouting report, I hope he's taking his studies really seriously.

Brad
It's actually a Jalen Reynolds kind of game, but he'd foul out on the jump ball in his glee to start mashing people.

Joel
Enter our boy James Farr. If he gets 20 minutes without Reynolds getting into foul trouble, we win. Go ahead and write that in stone right now.

It will be interesting to see what Coach Mack does on defense.

Bryan
Do you think it being such a big game will wake Farr up at all? He did alright against Georgetown from what I recall.

Also, unsurprisingly Ge'Lawn Guyn is from Georgetown, KY. That fits.

Brad
I wonder if he considers a Cafagymatorioum an architectural marvel. I hate that place. Wasn't he supposed to be something by now?

Bryan
I thought so.

Joel
Never mind, he's out for the year with a hurt finger.

Brad
I'm shutting my phone off at 7 tomorrow. I'm not going to be live and for some reason I always get the first bucket on my Google app. I don't want to even know who leads after a minute.

I am cautiously optimistic about this after looking at the matchups a bit more. They don't have that stretch big that slaughters us.

Joel
We're going to have to keep them out of the paint on the drive and the offensive rebound. If we can do that, I like our chances. Can we do that?

Bryan
Zone 'em.

Brad
That's key #3. They don't shoot all that well or all that often from deep. Please Jesus, let James Farr be ready to play.
