Xavier possibly leading for four-star 2016 guard Bruce Brown

Adding Brown would make a monster 2016 class for Xavier.

According to ESPN recruiting analyst Jeff Borzello, Xavier is a likely landing spot for four-star combo guard Bruce Brown out of Vermont. Brown has been a high priority for Indiana and Purdue for a long time, but Xavier has been gaining momentum recently coming up to the early signing period.

Brown is 6'4" and has a college-ready body. His calling card is using his strength to get into the middle, where he is an excellent finisher at and around the rim. He has put a lot of work into his jump shot, and at this point it has to be considered a strength. His handle is still middling, but he is a though, physical player who could make an impact in the Big East from day one.

Should Brown announce for Xavier, he would join an already strong class of PG Quentin Goodin and PFs Tyrique Jones and Eddie Ekiyor. Goodin is a consensus four-star, top 100 player, and Jones and Ekiyor also hang right at the three-to-four-star level depending on whose take you prefer. Adding Brown would give Coach Mack and Xavier another monster class and help provide the foundation for continued success going forward.
