First, the info:
I know we're not exactly splitting the atom here, but I love to read good stuff about the Muskies in the preseason. Forgrave is telling us what we already know: Trevon Bluiett and Jalen Reynolds are the cornerstones of this team heading into the early part of the season. If both of those players play well, X is going to be monstrous from the word go.
The real intriguing news here to me is that he includes the "slimmed down Trevon Bluiett" when he's listing the team's most athletic players. There were a lot of things that I loved about Bluiett's game last year, but you would have to go way down the list before you got to athleticism. If Trevon can retain the refinement and guile that led him to such a successful freshman campaign and come in trim and ready to be a threat due to athletic ability, he's going to be more than a lot of teams can handle.
I'm really ready for the season to start.
