Mick Cronin is out for the season

If you're both human and a Xavier fan, this is hard information to parse.

Hard to imagine how this guy's blood vessels could have problems.

As first reported by everybody and his mum, Mick Cronin will not coach the University of Cincinnati anymore this year. Cronin had a non-life threatening vascular condition detected in December after he complained of lingering headaches. An unruptured aneurysm was detected by his doctors.

Obviously, we don't wish even our most ardent of basketball enemies any real life ill will. Cronin is a man with a family and a children's book, and whatever invective may roll through your mind in the heat of battle cools in the rational realization that it's just basketball.

Cronin will continue recruiting and advising for the season, at the end of which his health will be reevaluated. Get well semi-soon, Mick. Just know that we can't stand you purely because of the post that you hold; it's not personal.

Okay, maybe it's a little bit personal. It'd kill you to bring in a couple of guys who can actually play attractive basketball?
