Yesterday got things off to a start no one had any right to expect. Ohio State lost in the very first game, UC collapsed against Harvard later on, and four games went to overtime. Texas won at the buzzer and at no point did the games slip into the soporific state that 11 straight hours of ball sometimes threaten.
Today, the games tip off with another team that is easy to cheer against (Duke) albeit not one with as great a chance of losing as OSU had. The first round of games brings the Baylor Bears against Nebraska, Tennessee and UMass figures to be good in the 2pm tips, and the Gonzaga/Oklahoma St. should be a good one to carry over the afternoon break.
