Xavier Kicks off the Season With Musketeer Madness Tonight!

The wait is over for fans to see their beloved Musketeers on the Cintas Center court. The wait to see them play a meaningful game may just kill us.

Can this man defend his dunk competition title? If he makes that face, will anyone else have the nerve to challenge?

The harbingers of college basketball season arriving are, for the most part, here. The leaves have turned from green to some form of red or another, Ohio's baseball franchises are no longer playing, and the air has taken on a pleasant (for some) crispness that signals the impending winter. The one last sign of the times for Xavier fans is Musketeer Madness, an unveiling and introduction to the edition of the team that will, this season, try to improve and a strong debut showing in the Big East and mount a conference title run. Beginning at 5:30 at the Cintas Center, fans will be able to seek autographs from the players before the Madness moves indoors for the unveiling of the new fan apparel for the year and the introduction of the team and coaching staff. With the promise of promotional giveaways, a slam dunk competition, and a brief intra-squad scrimmage (not softball this time), this event will be sure to get Musketeer fans excited for the season ahead.
