The workmanlike Erik Stenger did enough last season to keep his scholarship for the approaching. As per Chris Mack's Twitter yesterday, it was Stenger's "no days off" attitude that kept him from having to pay for college this year. Last season Erik appeared in every game, managing a high of 20 minutes in the disaster against Tennessee. Stenger averaged 1.8/2.3/.2 in 8.9 minutes per contest. He scored 12 against Fairleigh Dickinson and also managed eight against Butler in the penultimate game of the season.
More than just reflecting well on Stenger, this scholarship indicates that Coach Mack will not be bringing in any immediately eligible transfers for the 2013-14 season. The team as you see now is, most likely, the team that will take the court this season.
