Brad Redford promised that 1,000 retweets of support for Joe Hughes and he would shave his head. 1,000 retweets later, he kept his word.
Thanks to the clicks of over 1000 strangers, Brad Redford now has no hair. What originated from a Dante Jackson tweet has now turned into one of the most recognizable faces of Xavier over the last five years becoming a little less recognizable. It's hard to know exactly how much little gestures from friends mean to people with cancer, and I pray I'll personally never know. But now, at least until it grows back, every time Joe Hughes turns on a Xavier game he'll see a friend that was thinking of him.
