Chalk Watch and Bubble Watch 3/7
Click the link for the updated Chalk Watch through March 6th's action. Chalk Watch viewing for Wednesday, March 7th: Big East tournament: Pitt v. Georgetown 2pm -Pitt was highly-touted at the start of the year; do they have the talent to get hot and steal the Big East bid? Bids being decided Wednesday, March 7th: Patriot League Championship: Lehigh v. Bucknell 7pm -No bids being stolen here no matter who wins. Northeast Conference Championship: Robert Morris v. LIU-Brooklyn 7pm -Again, a championship game in a one-bid league. Big Sky Championship: Weber St. v. Montana/ E Washington 9pm -None of these teams is going to make a push to steal a bid if they lose the automatic ticket. Bubble watch: Big East tournament: UConn v. West Virginia 12pm -Both of these teams are currently in, but neither is too comfortable. Someone is going to lose (obviously) and have to sweat out the rest of the week. Big East tournament: Villanova v. South Florida 9pm -Nova can't see the bubble from where they are, but USF is currently in line for something around a 12-seed. A win or two makes USF feel good; a loss to Nova puts them in an uncomfortable place through the weekend.
