Hopefully he’ll start finishing near the rim. Xavier is doing a good job getting all the way to the rim today.

Am I the only one who hates seeing Jeff Robinson come in?

Big Kenny is getting deep while Fordham presses the ball. He’s go a post iso if they can get it to him.

Man, Redford can’t get a roll right now.

Xavier let down at the end of the half there. 35-30 lead at the break isn’t what it should have been.

Walker has ten boards already; Redford 2-4 from downtown.

How much better has Xavier looked today? I’d like to believe this isn’t all a product of playing Fordham.

Good Lord, why in the world schedule a game to tip-off at 9 in the morning on a Saturday? Was Fordham trying to drive down attendance?

by twistedenglish77 on Jan 7, 2012 1:57 PM EST reply actions

It was noon local time. Tennessee tipped off at 10am local time today. That’s insane.

Ok, that makes a lot more sense. Noon, not the Tennessee thing. That stuff is bordering on cruel and unusual treatment.

That wasn’t great, but I’ll take the win. Xavier had a 16-point lead and then just held on. Looked much better on offense though. Eighteen assists on twenty-three made buckets.
